This is a "multiple-fill" job opening:
A total of two (2) (1.0 FTE), Registered Nurses will be hired to fill this job opening.
Hours & shifts are identical for both hires.

Provides skilled nursing services to patients in their homes and is responsible for assessing nursing needs, including the physical, psychosocial and environmental needs of patients and their families.
May act as a primary nurse to one or more patients, encompassing the responsibilities of updating care plans, medication profiles and maintaining organization of the medical chart in the home.
The home health RN safely completes procedures and treatments as necessary.
As a member of a multi-disciplinary home health staff, the RN ensures the provision of safe delivery of nursing care following all department policies and state and federal regulations.

- Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse License
- Twelve months (12 mo) of acute nursing experience or equivalent
- Twelve months (12 mo) tracheostomy care and mechanical ventilator experience
- Ability to work autonomously in a non-structured environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical Ability: must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Travel is required throughout Southeast Michigan.

Broad-based nursing skill level
One (1) year of home health care experience
Home Mechanical Ventilation experience
Pediatric Nursing experience
Appointment: 40 hours
Shift: Day/Night shift, rotating holidays and weekends per contract
Location: Southeast Michigan, must be willing to travel for specific patient assignment in Washtenaw, Wayne, Livingston and Jackson counties.
