Job Summary

Estimated salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000.

The University of Michigan-Flint School of Management seeks highly qualified applicants for a Lecturer III position in the area of Accounting.

The preferred candidate would have established record of academic qualifications in Accounting, with a history of teaching excellence and intellectual contributions.  Expected to provide service to the School and the University on standing and ad-hoc committees as well as advise students as appropriate.  Expected to teach in the classroom and online undergraduate and graduate courses on financial accounting, at introductory and intermediate level, and managerial accounting.

Required Qualifications*

Prospective candidates should minimally possess an MBA or equivalent degree in relevant discipline. Doctoral degrees preferred. Strong communication skills are needed. Preference will be given to those with strong professional experience and to those demonstrating a history of teaching excellence in this discipline.
