The Department of Chemistry is seeking Lecturers to teach Chemistry 215 – Structure & Reactivity II or Chemistry 260-Chemical Principles for the Spring Half Term 2018 only. (May 1 – June 30).
The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a closely related field. Qualified candidates should be fluent in the area of expertise and exhibit evidence of excellent teaching skills.
Preference will be given to candidates who are Research Fellows in good standing in the Department of Chemistry or the Program in Biophysics or who have previously served as an instructor for Chemistry 215 or Chemistry 260 at the University of Michigan.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
