The University of Michigan, Department of Internal Medicine is seeking board certified/eligible candidates for a faculty position in the Division of General Medicine. The successful candidates will be expected to participate in patient care and teaching in our expanding Academic Primary Care Group. Duties include providing direct patient care in an outpatient setting with teaching opportunities. Prior training or clinical experience at a major academic medical center is preferred. Excellent benefits and compensation package with guaranteed salary plus incentive bonuses. Relocation support provided.
The ideal candidate should have an M.D. or D.O. degree and postgraduate clinical training. They should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical license in the State of Michigan as well as be board certified or board eligible. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with other clinicians. Good oral and written communication skills are essential. Evidence of clinical competence and didactic teaching is expected.
This position is posted as a Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor. Rank of selected candidate is dependent upon qualifications.
