Support the clinical operations of the STEPS' Autism Treatment Program, providing data collection and analysis, assisting the SLP and Occupational Therapist in treatment provision and organizing and managing all treatment materials.
80% Setting up for treatment of children with communication disorders, data collection and behavior management during treatment; cleaning and re-organizing materials after treatment.
15% Data management and development of programming materials. Documentation of clinical behavioral intervention data.
5% Coordination of volunteers and visiting staff.
- B.A. or B.S. in Psychology, Linguistics or related health fields, and/or specific experience in these areas.
- Applicants must be interested in working with children with autism and communication disorders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Previous experience working with children with autism.
