Temporary Staffing Services is posting and screening candidates on behalf of the hiring unit.
Provide support for a complex computing environment in the areas of software, hardware and network within the department of MHealthy at the University of Michigan
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Support of specialized applications such as RecTrac, HealthRx, MedComp, and ClinicTracker.
- Support of Michigan Medicine core imaged computers – troubleshooting, taking corrective action and/or working with appropriate Michigan Medicine and UM technology resources
- Software installation and upgrades
- Troubleshooting new and existing hardware and software
- Assist with equipment procurement as approved by supervisor
- Access data migration
- Use of ServiceNow enterprise-wide IT ticketing system
- Maintain email groups within Outlook
Must have at least 3 years of experience with hands-on desktop support plus a bachelor's degree in a related field. Also should be knowledgeable of other programming languages and platforms. Must have working experience and knowledge of Access (linking, tables, queries) to support data migration. Position requires being in a stationary position for long periods of time, generally seated. Position also involves the ability to travel to various locations on the Ann Arbor/Michigan Medicine campus to conduct work. Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of SQL and Sharepoint. 5 years of experience with hands-on desktop support.
20-40 hours/week with flexibility between 7:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday for work hours.
Position starts ASAP and is expected to last at least 8 weeks possibly longer.
Primary work location is Wolverine Tower (3003 S. State St., Ann Arbor, MI), but position may also require travel to locations off Plymouth Rd. and on the Michigan Medicine campus.
