We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our research teams. The research is focused on studying the molecular mechanisms underlying genome instability and cancer predisposition. This is an excellent position for a recent graduate who would like to gain research experience in collaborative environment.
- Assisting and participating in bench-side research, including cellular, molecular and genetic experiments
- The individual will learn and perform general molecular biology techniques, cell culture, genotyping, tumor monitoring and analysis, flow cytometry and microscopy.
- General laboratory management and organization, ordering of supplies
- Maintaining compliance with safety and animal care regulations.
BA/BS in biology, genetics or a related field and related laboratory research experience (which may be at the undergraduate level) is required.
The applicant is expected to be able to work well within a research group and have excellent communication skills. The individual should also have strong organizational skills and be meticulous in record keeping.
