Responsibilities*

The School of Nursing (UMSN), Office of Undergraduate Studies, Undergraduate Program is seeking a LEO Lecturer I to teach Winter term, 2019 (January 1, 2019 through April 30, 2019), N210 – Human Anatomy and Physiology. The successful applicant will be doctorally prepared or a post-doc or doctoral student with studies in anatomy and physiology. This position is a .4166 FTE (5 credits).

N210 – The purpose of this course is to relate structure and function at the organ system level and to demonstrate the contribution of each organ system to maintenance of homeostasis. Physical and chemical principles are used explaining structure and function. Organ systems are explored from the cellular level upward. This course is offered concurrently with a lab course using a plastinated and plastinated body parts, human skeletons, plastic models, computer programs and other available technology.

NOTE: This appointment is for Winter 2019 only.

Required Qualifications*

  • A doctorate degree, or post-doc or doctoral student with studies in anatomy and physiology is preferred. 
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have teaching experience and content expertise with a focus on anatomy and physiology.
  • Prior to start date this appointment requires that you be in compliance with all orientations, licenses/certifications, health requirements including standard precautions such as Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, policies and procedures both internal and external to the University.
