The candidate will assist in planning experiments, execute experiments, analyze data, and present results to the PI and senior lab personnel.

Responsibilities also include assisting senior lab personnel in managing the mouse colony (plan breeding strategy, phenotyping and genotyping, etc.), maintaining an inventory of laboratory supplies, and ordering supplies as needed.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for supervising student research assistants and junior lab personnel, as needed.

Required Qualifications*

HS Diploma or Assoc. Degree and 1-3 years experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cell culture and molecular biology techniques including PCR, Western Blot, DNA and RNA isolation. Experience with animal research models and flow cytometry preferred, but not required.
