The Journalism and Screen Studies (JASS) program is seeking a dependable media assistant to help full-time staff manage and maintain JASS program video and audio production equipment. This includes equipment scheduling, check-out and check-in, and maintenance. The media assistant will also be asked, on occasion, to assist Campus Media Services personnel with event and class recording as a production assistant.
JASS curriculum background desired but not required.
Positions will be filled based on availability, reliability, and experience in video production (JASS courses recommended).
Hours average 6 – 8 per week. Salary is $9.25 per hour. Positon start date will be mid-late August. Applications only accepted via UMJOBS.ORG. Resume and cover letter must be uploaded for consideration.
