Responsibilities*

The minimum salary for this position is $3,413.50 per course.  The University of Michigan-Flint invites applications for a part-time faculty position at the Lecturer I level for the period of September 4 through December 18, 2018.  The position entails teaching a 3-credit graduate course, EGR 550 Advanced Fluid Mechanics. The most recently adopted textbook is Viscous Fluid Flow, 3rd ed. by Frank M. White.  The class is scheduled Tuesdays, 6:00 – 8:45 PM EDT.  The budget for this position is for the fall 2018 term only.

Required Qualifications*

Prospective candidates must possess doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline. 

Desired Qualifications*

Relevant work and teaching experience is desirable. 

Union Affiliation

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
