The Institute provides training, coaching, access to capital, competitions, and other means of significant support and resources for students to take the knowledge learned in the classroom, and development life-long entrepreneurial skills through the hands-on development of innovative new business.

This position provides program coordination and support for student programs, activities and projects.  The position will provide exceptional customer service to faculty, staff, students, alumni, and visitors.


Program Coordination
•    Lead coordination efforts for various student programs including the Marcel Gani Internship program, Open Road, Mingle ‘n’ Match, Entrepreneurial Luncheon, etc.
•    Facilitate execution of the program’s objectives by identifying and fostering key relationships at the school, campus, local, and national levels.  
•    Manage programs by participating in organizational meetings with faculty and program directors on design, finance, and operational aspects of the program.   
•    Solicit and respond to feedback regarding various aspects of the program.  
•    Present feedback to program directors and recommend actions for future programming and continuous improvement.  
•    Provide student counseling as needed.

Program Support
•    Provide support for key programs including the Michigan Business Challenge, Dare to Dream, and Venture Capital Investment Competition. 
•    Oversee the planning and execution of logistics for above programs, events, conferences, workshops, and/or meetings by managing logistics, preparing agendas, gathering materials, communicating with attendees, and attending/hosting.  
•    Collect metrics for information sessions, workshops, and programs.

Required Qualifications*

•    Four year college (Bachelor’s Degree) or equivalent combination of education and experience
