Job Summary

Seeking a fall 2018 term instructor (9/1/2018 - 12/31/2018), with potential to have future fall appointments in a similar capacity. The expected percentage of effort is 25 - 37.5%

Lab instruction for 2-3 sections of Surgical Neuromonitoring Lab. Course provides a hands-on approach to learning about neuropathways in the human body. Lectures and lab exercises will illustrate how these internal pathways are connected and how we can evoke, record and measure the activity.

BS Degree 

Desired Qualifications*

Master’s degree preferred.  Teaching / precepting experience preferred.  Knowledge of Cadwell and Nihon Koden neuromonitoring software.  2 years of intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring experience, including trans-cranial electric motor evoked potentials, brainstem auditory evoked potentials, somatosensory evoked potentials, visual evoked potentials, electroencephalography (raw and digital spectral analysis), and spontaneous and triggered electromyography.

The postition will begin September 1, 2018. The expected date by which the offer of appointment will be made will likely be July 1, 2018.
