Job Summary

NOTE:  THIS IS A TIME-LIMITED GRANT FUNDED POSITION

The School of Social Work is currently accepting applications for an Evaluation Associate. The associate will focus primarily on one existing project-- the implementation and evaluation of an intervention to reach low-income fathers, implemented in collaboration with six home visitation program sites in the state of Michigan. The associate will work in collaboration with the faculty Principal Investigator and the Program Evaluation Group, an evaluation and applied research center at the school. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: project coordination; consulting with the six home visitation program sites; evaluation planning; program development and logic modelling; creation and administration of data collection tools; data analysis; and reporting and dissemination.

Required Qualifications*

  • Masters’ level graduate, preferably in Social Work or Public Health
  • Experience in maternal and infant health desired
  • High organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Can work independently and on a team
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative data (collection and/or analysis)
  • Experience with program/project management
  • Experience with evaluation planning
  • Experience with data management systems, such as Excel and SPSS, or other statistical applications
  • Works well with different populations in a variety of communities
