To evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders and disabilities, to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician.
This position is a contingent/PRN position that will rotate between the medical surgical acute care team. Employee filling this position will be scheduled on an as needed basis.
Masters or DPT degree in physical therapy or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Satisfactory completion of an internship program and acute care experience is necessary. Demonstrated proficiency in patient treatment is necessary. Possession of a current State license to practice physical therapy in Michigan is necessary.
Monday - Friday schedule with some weekend hours required.
