The student will help in the development of a hybrid version of Span 101 and 102 assisting the instructors in transferring materials to Canvas and developing new course materials. The student will aid faculty in various aspects of course development.
This position requires a student that has competence/fluency in Spanish and is proficient at utilizing learning technologies.The student will receive training for Canvas development and in other learning technologies.
The student is expected to work a minimum of nine hours a week. The ideal schedule is 10 am to 1 pm, at least 3 days a week, for July and August 2018. Some of the work can be done remotely. The student is expected to complete their office hours at CASL 3065 and CASL 3094.
Starting salary is $10.0. Salary increases are awarded at the discretion of the supervisor. This position is for July and August 2018 but may continue depending on performance for Fall 2018 and Winter 2019.
Good communications skills.
Currently or previously enrolled in upper level Spanish course
Competence/fluency in Spanish.
Competence in Canvas.
Hours: Part time. 9+ hours a week.
