The Department of Pathology is seeking a PhD Research Investigator to join the faculty at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The specific area of research that this position will facilitate will be to study the mechanisms regulating function of tight junction-associated proteins that play critical roles in mediating intestinal epithelial cell proliferation, migration, and barrier function during health and disease. Successful candidate will also be expected to publish and present results of this research.
This position requires a PhD and 4+ years of postdoctoral fellowship experience in cellular or molecular physiology related research as well as a track record of peer-reviewed publications.
