Job Summary

Education 607: Educational Assessement

The School of Education is seeking a part-time lecturer to design and teach a graduate course that surveys assessments and other instruments used in schools and organizations, the practices used to develop and validate instruments, scales, and scores, and the knowledge needed to interpret information about assessments in published literature. The course should provide students with the opportunity to design an assessment in an area of personal interest and sketch plans for evaluating it.

Students in the class include MA in the Program Evaluation and Improvement Research concentration, students from other MA strands, and doctoral students in education.

Required Qualifications*

A PhD in Educational Measurement
