Job Summary

The University of Michigan-Dearborn's Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) currently has an opportunity available as an Administrative Assistant Temp. This position will be responsible for scheduling, preparing information, communicating with families, and maintaining the ECEC website.The position will report to ECEC 's Site Director and the hours will be from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities*

Enrollment and maintenance of children’s schedules and ECEC wait list, as well as practicum students’ placements and schedules.

•Provide administrative support to the ECEC Site Director and Administration.

•Manage agendas, minutes, action plans and documentation for all ECEC meetings and communicate meeting results.

•Maintain/track information for licensing and government agencies.

•Maintain ECEC website and blogs.

•Communicate and act as contact with families regarding events, notifications and due dates.

 

 

 

Required Qualifications*

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Two to four years of related work experience.

•Strong oral and written communication skills.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. 

•Demonstrate ability to interact successfully with ECEC team, parents, students, faculty and staff.

 

 

•Website design and maintenance experience
