There is an immediate need for an Instructional Aide in N800 (Statistics for Advanced Practice). Duties and responsibilities include attending class lectures and taking attendance; reviewing assigned reading materials; grading student assignments and exams; and leading exam review sessions.
Further responsibilities may include:
- Answering student emails regarding administrative issues, assignments, and exams
- Assisting in course set-up on Canvas
- Participating in course development related to student assessment
- Exam preparation
- Administration of exams
- Attend and assist with facilitating meetings with student groups
- Attending regular meetings with the faculty of record
- Teach or assist in teaching course content with supervision
Bachelor degree required, masters preferred having successfully completed graduate-level statistics courses. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with superior ability to communicate effectively are required. Proven attention to details, adaptable, and strong organizational skills are required.
Hours: up to 120 hours
Hourly rate: $15-18
