We are seeking a full-time Research Laboratory Technician Associate to work in an interdisciplinary lab pursuing basic science in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology. The lab studies spatial organization and differentation of human pluripotent stem cells.
The candidate will assume responsibility for performing routine lab work and data analysis including cell culture, molecular cloning, immunohistochemistry, fluorescence microscopy, and image analysis. Additional responsibilities include acquiring and analyzing data under the guidance of graduate students or postdoctoral fellows and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or a related science degree and matching lab research experience. The applicant should be highly motivated, detail-oriented and methodical, and able to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate is good at multi-tasking and has strong communication skills.
Experience working with pluripotent stem cells, fluorescence microscopy, and molecular cloning.
