Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, statement of writing plans, evidence of teaching excellence, a published or contracted book or manuscript, and three letters of recommendation by September 28th. The Helen Zell Writers’ Program in the Department of English at the University of Michigan invites applications for a visiting appointment in poetry. This is a non-tenure-track position with a university-year appointment. The appointment term is three years, with the potential for renewal for an additional two years.
Candidates should be emerging writers (at least one book published or under contract) who have achieved distinction in their writing and demonstrated the promise of excellence in their teaching.
