A highly motivated lab specialist associate is sought in the newly-established laboratory of Dr. Min at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. The focus of the laboratory is to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms of platelets and megakaryocytes in hemostasis, thrombosis and bone marrow disorders. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a strong background in cell and molecular biology, and experience with mouse genetic models.
Conduct research projects using the following laboratory techniques: tissue culture, mouse genetics models, flow cytometry, and microscopy. The candidate will be working under direct supervision of the principal investigator. Proficiency in written and verbal English is required.
A bachelor’s degree in a health science discipline is required. The candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in cell and molecular biology, immunology and animal handling.
Master's degree preferred
This is a term limited position with funding for 1 year.
