Job Summary

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Structural Biology position is available in the laboratory of Prof. Tomasz Cierpicki, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor to carry out interdisciplinary project to study structures and interactions of biomedically important proteins.

 

Responsibilities*

We are seeking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with extensive experience in structural biology and with training in protein crystallography and/or in biomolecular NMR spectroscopy. Additional experience in protein biochemistry and biophysical methods is also required. This project will also require experience in expression of recombinant proteins, protein purification, protein binding experiments, skills in performing routine molecular biology experiments.

Required Qualifications*

Applicant must have PhD in structural biology or related field and be a first author on at least 2-3 publications. This position requires extensive experience in protein X-ray crystallography and/or biomolecular NMR spectroscopy. Furthermore, excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
