The University of Michigan-Flint Phyiscal Therapy Department is seeking temporary employment services of a Clerk B (work study funding required) working directly with faculty and departmental staff.
To be considered for this position, candidates must attach a cover letter as the first page of the resume. The cover letter should addres specific interest in the position and outline skills and experience that directly relate to the position. A letter of reference noting professionalism and organization skills should be included with the application and resume submission.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: (1) Coordinate calendars and schedule meetings and appointments; (2) Under faculty supervision, modify and organize policy and procedure materials in support of reaccreditation process; (2) Transcribe, edit, copy and collate documents; (4) Organize and maintain files; (5) Work effectively with other faculty and staff.
Current student in good academic standing at the University of Michigan-Flint with work study funding available. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email. Good professional writing and communication skills. Highly organized, reliable person with the ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner with appropriate supervision. Available for at least 8 hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. throughout the traditional work week (Monday-Friday) for onging, time senstive support activities.
