We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our laboratory team, to contribute to a project focused on understanding the cellular basis of bipolar disorder using human pluripotent stem cells.
Daily duties would include assisting, participating in and overseeing bench-side research (including, but not limited to: culture and manipulation of human pluripotent stem cells, tissue fixation and processing, light microscopy, pcr and western blotting, as well as data recording). This position will also include laboratory organization and ordering of supplies.
The applicant should have an Bachelor’s degree in a science related field and 2-3 years of experience.
Ability to work well within a research group, good analytical skills. Training in molecular and cell biology laboratory techniques. There is some weekend work.
