The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Michigan - Dearborn is seeking applications for a part-time lecturer. The lecturer will be responsible for teaching introductory and/or intermediate Statistics courses in the winter 2019 term based on the department curriculum needs. Responsibilities include working with the course chair to create a course syllabus using the university required syllabi template and the department course outline for each course; delivering classroom lectures, maintaining appropriate number of office hours, making and grading exam/test papers and/or other required assignments.
Candidates must have good communication skills and at least a Master degree in Mathematics or Statistics with basic experience of using SPSS, R, Minitab, Python and MatLab. Preference will be given to candidates who have taken Statistics courses including Probability, Statistics Modeling, Applied Regression Analysis, Reliability and Survival Analysis.
