The work involves researching patient charts in order to fill out a variety of forms. These include forms required by Medicare/Medicaid, Family Medical Leave Act forms, MI Department of Human Services Medical Needs forms, forms required by various durable medical equipment companies, physician’s reports for patients being admitted to senior living facilities, and many others. The position requires the ability to proactively track down information and independently discern what is needed. Other duties may include working with nursing to get prior auths for genetic testing and pulling and processing reports for BPA’s.
