Responsibilities include: overall supervision of the university ice rink when full-time staff is not present; provide for the safety, security, and cleanliness of the ice rink facility both indoor and outdoor; event preparation, assigning and evaluating employees, and enforcing departmental policies and procedures; maintain files and data base of participants; perform public relations functions associated with the ice rink; and assist in coordination of ice rink program projects.
Work hours include evenings and weekends between November 30, 2018 and March 3, 2019.
Must include hours of availibility in application or resume.
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Previous experience supervising events
- Excellent communication skills
- UM-Flint student, work study award for the 2018-19 academic year
- current certification in CPR, AED and first aid skills
