Primary responsibilities include conducting medical chart abstraction and interviewing stroke patients in the hospital.
The candidate will also be responsible for entering data collected and scheduling assessments.
HS diploma or Assoc degree and 0-1 year experience
Medical chart experience, strong computer skills (MS Office, data entry, etc.), and medical terminology are necessary. The candidate must be very detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others, and strong oral and written communication skills. Reliable transportation and occasional weekend/evening availability are required. Candidate will be required to cross-train in other job duties.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred to serve Spanish-speaking population.
Research experience and/or minimum of 2 years college, LVN or other medical degree preferred.
