Prepare, band and analyze human chromosomes using-bright field microscopy or fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).  Establish cultures of clinical samples including peripheral blood, bone marrow, amniotic fluid, CVS, solid tumors and other tissues. Prepare karyograms/karyotypes by microscopy and computer imaging.

Required Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree in a related science field and appropriate previous laboratory experience required.

Desired Qualifications*

CG (ASCP) certification or previous cytogenetic experience is desirable.
