Responsibilities*

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Michigan Health System is currently recruiting a Radiation Oncologist.  We provide exceptional patient care at seven clinics across the state of Michigan.  The position can be filled at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level.

In addition to participating in a general radiation oncology practice, the selected applicant will contribute to teaching University of Michigan radiation oncology residents.  The candidate can also participate in clinical research, including University of Michigan investigator initiated and RTOG studies

Required Qualifications*

Medical degree with completion of residency training in radiation oncology.  Board Certified or Board eligible by the American Board of Radiology.  Hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses for the state of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence and competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected.

Desired Qualifications*

Previous record of publications in scientific journals, experience in clinical research and teaching is highly desirable.
