Job Summary

A position is open for a talented postdoctoral fellow who is interested in developmental biology, stem cells and bioinformatics.  The project will utilize both Zebrafish and human cells to develop a molecular understanding of neural crest stem cell biology using cutting edge molecular tools and bioinformatics analyses. The successful applicant will have earned a Ph.D. in a molecular biology-related field, and have broad experience in molecular genetics and cell biology techniques with an aptitude for computational work.


Basic (bench), translational and clinic research, including histology and statistics

Ability to formulate testable hypothesis, design and execute experiments

Work independently and with other lab members as a collaborative team

Excellent organizational skills

Use of molecular biology techniques

Prepare and maintain laboratory stock and supplies

Required Qualifications*

Ph.D. in molecular biology-related field
Experience with cellular and molecular biology techniques
Basic background in statistics
Excellent writing and oral communication skills

Desired Qualifications*

Laboratory experience
Strong molecular biology skill set including tissue culture, molecular cloning, western blotting, Q-PCR
Experience with tissue sectioning
Experience with Zebrafish
