Responsibilities*

Assist with food prep such as clean, slice, dice, chop, and peel fruits and vegetables, slice cooked meats and cheeses. 

Assist in preparing grilled, sauteed, baked, fried, and convenience foods. 

Set up service area prior to meal service including beverage stations, hot wells and serving lines, coffee service and condiment areas. 

Operate kitchen equipment including slicer. 

Responsible for cleanup of service area following meal service, follow HACCP and Health Code Standards.

Required Qualifications*

Must be able to communicate both written and verbal. 

Must be able to combine ingredients following a recipe and follow directions. 

Must be able to do basic math. 

Must be able to weigh and measure ingredients. 

Ability to move and transport objects weighing up to 50 lbs. 

Maintain a static position for extended periods of time while preparing food.

Able to move quickly throughout the kitchen and dining hall as needed. 

Must have good customer service skills. 

This also involves display cooking support and should be comfortable in being in public interacting with the guest. 

Knowledge of methods and equipment used in the preparation and distribution of food is necessary.

Must be able to read and write English.

Must be able to legally work in the United States.

Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Saturday through Wednesday - 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
