Seeking a highly motivated individual for a full-time position as cell biologist with knowledge in development and regenerative Biology. This position involves flow sorting and molecular characterization of cells isolated from the mouse inner ear.
Assist the Principal Investigator in resolving molecular mechanisms of hair cell regeneration in the mouse inner ear. Methods applied will include flow sorting, single cell RNAseq, histology and confocal microscopy.
- Minimum of PhD in Biology or related field is required
- Must have solid background in cell and molecular biology
- Previous experience in mouse colony management, in situ hybridization and imaging is required
- Interest in flow sorting is a plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Exceptional ability to work with a team.
- Willingness to learn new techniques.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
