The MacDougald lab is seeking a research lab tech intermediate to work on a variety of developmental, metabolic, and functional aspects of adipose tissue biology. This individual will also help with the administrative and technical aspects of the MNORC adipose tissue core that’s currently being developed.
Will perform services for the clients of the adipose tissue core
Will be responsible for the administrative duties that allow the good maintenance of the lab (order lab supplies, update the animal protocol, meet sale representatives, maintain equipment,…)
Supervise undergraduate students
Assist postdoctoral fellows and graduate students on a regular basis with their research (histology, genotyping, dissections, etc)
Bachelors degree with 1-3 years experience
