Minimum salary for this position is $4,750 per course section. The University of Michigan-Flint’s Department of Art and Art History seeks a part-time, Lecturer I in Art Education, beginning Fall, 2019. Responsibilities include teaching the Art Education Introductory Course, ART 101 MW 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Art Education, Certification in Art Education K-12 in the State of Michigan, M.A. in Art, Art Education, Technology or related field. At least five years experience as an art teacher. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated vision, enthusiasm, and leadership are essential.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
