Job Summary

The Division of Prosthodontics in the Department of Biologic & Materials Sciences (Dental School) is seeking a Clinical Subjects Coodinator. The selected individual will work in partnership with Division's clinical faculty and research staff. This position supports translational research in neuroimaging, neuromodulation, and advanced visual & mobile technologies to improve precision in the pain field.

Responsibilities*

General functionality: Provides routine technical support for the clinical study portfolio. Screens recruitment of subjects, schedules trial related procedures, and collects, processes and analyzes clinical trial data. Collects specimens and monitors subjects. Assists in the reporting of test results. Performs general lab support duties to contribute to the overall function of the research team.

 
Duties include, but are not limited to:
 
- Recruitment & scheduling
- Screening & Informed Consent
- Conduct study visits (eg, escort subjects, questionnaires, algometry)
- Collect, process & analyze biospecimens
- Data entry/maintain data source(s) and databases
- Collect, process & analyze clinical trial data
- May assist CRC with regulatory, ethics, financial, safety, monitoring and other research oversight activities
- Perform general lab support duties to contribute to the overall function of the research team.
- Training (eg, PEERRS, IRBMED classes)

Required Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree in a health science discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two or more years of research experience and/or clinical experience with demonstrated empathy and skills in the potential care of a patient population displaying a chronic disorder. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines. Good working knowledge and previous experience with standard computer programs, such as: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and/or Microsoft Access. Excellent communication skills, excellent attention to detail, excellent ability to multitask, excellent organizational skills, and excellent attendance record.

Work Locations

This position is located at the School of Dentistry at 205 Zina Pitcher Place.

Additional Information

This is a one-year, term limited position, renewable based on performance and funding.
