The University of Michigan-Dearborn has an exciting opportunity available for a person with great initiative, flexibility and professionalism to work as an Office Assistant in the Department of Behavioral Sciences. This position will provide a student the opportunity to learn new skills and improve existing skills. The Office Assistant will be responsible for clerical tasks in support of various faculty members and students.
Duties may include:
Handle copying, scanning and typing requests for faculty and staff. May need to assist students with research projects. Assist faculty members, and other duties as assigned.
- Undergraduate and student at the University of Michigan-Dearborn
- Computer experience, Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred
- Professional etiquette, in-person and on-the-phone
- Enjoys working with people and creating a friendly and professional environment
This classification is considered non-exempt in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
