Responsibilities*

Serve as a project lead and main project contact.  Assign, monitor, and review progress and accuracy of work of project staff. Conduct regular observations and quality control of project staff. Lead meetings for project staff and manage staff schedules.


Assist with start-up of project including developing and testing procedures, data collection forms, and database items. Maintain procedure manual and ensure other coordinators are following procedure.

 

Onboard, train, and supervise project staff.


Maintain positive community ties and serve as a representative of the project to partnering hospitals and organizations.

Approach patients for study participation and enroll study participants, conduct field data collection, participant interviews, medical record abstraction, participant phone calls and scheduling, and other project tasks as needed.


Work with project manager and database manager on quality control procedures, data management, and IRB items when needed. Report weekly to principal investigators on progress of project,

Required Qualifications*

High school graduation or associates degree is required. Candidate will be required to cross-train in all job duties of the project staff he/she oversees.
 

Desired Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree and experience in research.  Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Experience with human subjects research including IRBs, knowledge of medical terminology and chart review experience, personnel management preferred. Excellent computer (MS Office, data entry, etc.) and technical skills preferred.
