The Human Resource ofice is seeking an additional Front Desk Receptionist for the fall semester. Successful candidates must have been awarded work study as part of their financial aid package and be a student at the Flint campus to be eligible for this position.
Primary duties will be to assist at the front desk and provide support to the Human Resources (HR) service team.
The HR office requires someone who is reliable/dependable, personable/courteous, self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
10-15 hours per week
Represent UM-Flint as a student professional on the telephone and in the office.
This position performs routine clerical and reception work that includes greeting and assisting customers in a courteous manner; answer incoming calls; receiving and sending campus/public mail; receiving and sending general correspondence for the office when directed; assisting customers in applying online for positions at the University; assisting in the processing of employee name tag requests; inputting data into excel speadsheets, filing, copying and shredding documents as requested; providing support to the Human Resources (HR) service team, performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned and completing special projects as assigned.
Must be a current UM-Flint student.
Must have been awarded work study for fall semester.

Previous experience in a office environment
Previous experience providing customer service
Completion of some college course work
Monday - Friday
8 am - 5 pm
