Course Description

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures seeks applications from qualified UM Graduate Student to teach Elementary Level Spanish for the Fall 2019 term.

Responsibilities*

Successful applicants will teach one section of Elementary Level Spanish under the direction of a language coordinator for a 50% GSI appointment. Elementary level classes meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday for one hour. 

Required Qualifications*

Applicants should have some prior experience teaching Spanish, some pedagogical training, and fluency or near native fluency in Spanish and English.

Desired Qualifications*

Individuals with prior experience teaching Spanish in RLL will be given priority consideration.

Selection Process

All applications will be forwarded to the RLL GSI Hiring Committee.  The Committee will make hiring recommendations to the Director of the Elementary Language Program.
