Investigation of Erosion in Particulated Multiphase Flow
Perform computational fluid dynamics analysis and Particle Image Velocimetry analysis to investigate location of maximum erosion in an elbow geometry. Prepare research papers and reports by comparing currently available data and the new data collected from the investigation.
The candidate must have experience and abilities to run CFD code ANSYS fluent, computer aided design, literature review, development of research plans, analysis of data and prepare tables, graphs and plots. Must have graduate degree in engineering and/or significant experience in CFD as determined by the PI.
The successful candidate will work remotely until the research laboratory facilities are open for conducting PIV experiments.
