Job Summary

The Qi laboratory is seeking 2-3 postdoctoral fellows to work in the physiological role of endoplasmic reticulum-associated protein degradation in mouse and cell culture models.

What You'll Do

  • Generate different mouse models and cell culture models
  • Design and execute the in vitro and in vivo experiments related to test the physiological role of ER-associated degradation in metabolism and disease.
  • Design and execute the in vitro and in vivo experiments related to identify ERAD substrates and the significance of this degradation event.
  • Data analysis, troubleshoot, data presentation and publication.

Required Qualifications*

Recent PhD with at least one first-authored publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

Desired Qualifications*

Expertise in cell biology or metabolism is essential.

Background Screening
