The Cardiac Procedures Unit Cath Lab is currently seeking a fulltime MA to join its established team. This position is located in the Cardiovascular Center.

Duties include but are not limited to: getting the patient’s rooms ready, making beds, stocking the rooms, prepping patients for procedures including hair removal, site cleansing, hook up to monitor and obtaining Vital Signs, EKG's, Accuchecks, cleaning equipment, stocking of supplies, performing daily QA on testing equipment and emergency equipment.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. 12 years of recent experience as a Nurse Aide/ICU Tech in a hospital setting. Vocational training in Health Care of College level courses in Health Care.
Understands and demonstrates the core concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care (PFCC), including: Respect and Dignity, Information Sharing, Participation, and Collaboration.
Certification as an EMT, CNA or MA preferred.
40 hours (5 8hr shifts), fulltime. Monday through Friday. Days. hours 6:30a-2p
This position may be filled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
