Job Summary

The University of Michigan Department of Radiation Oncology invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor board certified/eligible Radiation Oncologist. The ideal candidate will display excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for patient care and the ability to work successfully with a team. The available position, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is at one of seven University of Michigan Radiation Oncology practices in the state. In Grand Rapids you will join an established clinical team with two other Radiation Oncologists and you will provide care for a variety of patients.

Responsibilities*

In addition to your clinical practice, you will have opportunities for teaching and clinical and health services research. The selected candidate will have strong connections to and enjoy support and opportunities for collaborative work with University of Michigan faculty colleagues based in Ann Arbor.

Required Qualifications*

Medical degree with completion of residency training in Radiation Oncology.  Board Certified or Board eligible by the American Board of Radiology. Possess expertise in a variety of radiation treatment methods.   Hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses for the state of Michigan.  Previous record of publications in scientific journals, research and teaching is desirable
