Job Description:

Seeking an MPH, MS or PhD Public Health student with an interest in developing skills around curriculum development, competency development and assessment, and student services. Candidate will assist the Associate Chair for Curriculum in Department of Environmental Health Sciences in developing processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of student services pertaining to curriculum. Candidates interested in student services and curriculum development would benefit from this position. 

Typical Responsibilities Include:

  • Create Qualtrics forms and Google Forms associated with required departmental form submission
  • Development and dissemination of Qualtrics surveys for assessing curriculum efficacy (student surveys)
  • Development and dissemination of Qualtrics surveys to alumni
  • Review and revise/update department curriculum documents (student handbooks)
  • Assist with survey development and administration (current students, alumni)
  • Assist with alumni matters (tracking, outreach) beyond surveys
  • Assist with APEx and Internship tracking and data assessment


Qualifications for this Position Include:

  • Currently enrolled in Masters or Doctoral degree program in Public Health
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Works well independently but does well with direction and instruction
  • Interest in working with academic curriculum
