Conceptualize and develop cross-functional client/unit strategic objectives, business processes, and initiatives that drive or increase organizational value.
Manage and/or administer the design and development of data structures and data extracts to support comprehensive data collection, loading, and extraction for complex analysis.
Participate in strategic assessments to identify current/emerging business issues/problems and contribute to defining high impact business intelligence solutions with a focus on the quantitative methods, modeling and analytical techniques.
Lead and guide business process improvement discussions leading to advice on potential problem resolutions including gathering the support and resources for BI initiatives.

Support advising by:
- Maintain and upgrade Advisor Notes, which includes supporting and answering a question coming from anyone using the system.
- Maintain the automated advisor assigning process to reflect the changes in the advising structure.
- Maintain and upgrade the Early Alert System.
- Apply at-risk predictive model on incoming FTIACs and share it with the advisors.
- Maintain and upgrade SSC Swipe System
- Maintain SSC Tutoring System Integration.
B.A. or B.S. in quantitative field with 5+ years of experience.
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to interact effectively with colleagues and university personnel with users of varying technological skill levels.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience utilizing various programming languages including Perl, SQL, PL/SQL, and XML.
Previous experience managing a database and working with database-driven web-based applications is required.
Demonstrated good organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate problems and take initiative, structuring one’s own activities and using resources in ways that maximize productivity and efficiency.
Demonstrated good work habits, dependability, and punctuality.
