Job Summary

Zero to Thrive is seeking a Data and Infrastructure Coordinator for the MC3 Perinatal Expansion program. This program offers psychiatry support to perinatal providers in Michigan who are caring for women who are contemplating pregnancy, currently pregnant or up to one year postpartum. Perinatal psychiatrists are available through same-day phone consultations to offer guidance on diagnostic questions, safe medications in pregnancy and while breastfeeding, and appropriate psychotherapy. This expansion project seeks to spread MC3 Perinatal to more sites across Michigan, to integrate an electronic behavioral health screener and to provide direct Telehealth support to women in community clinics via Behavioral Health Consultants. This is a fast paced environment requiring flexibility, exceptional communication and organization skills and the ability to independently problem solve. This is a grant funded, full-time position opportunity and a multiple year commitment is preferred.

Responsibilities*

The Data and Infrastructure Coordinator will support program implementation through two means (1) designing, implementing and managing all clinical and evaluation data (2) creating and supporting project infrastructure. Specific tasks include:

Data Management

  • Collect and assess screener scores at several time points to determine tele-health engagement, women’s risk status, change in risk status, and impact of interventions and clinical treatments. 
  • Develop and implement data procedures including creating datasets, cleaning data, writing syntax, merging data from various sources and performing analysis.
  • Participate in dissemination of findings including creating and contributing to presentations and publications.
  • Train and oversee research assistants in data entry and verification.
  • Ensure data is transferred for independent coders in a manner according to data management safety guidelines.

Infrastructure Support

  • Work with the Project Coordinator and Principal Investigator to create protocols and streamline processes.
  • Work closely with Project Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition of information between community partners, Zero to Thrive project team and study collaborators.
  • Manage all agreements to support infrastructure including Data Use Agreements, Business Associate Agreements and other contractual paperwork, and support IRB application as appropriate

Required Qualifications*

Research Area Specialist Intermediate

  • Master's degree in related field
  • 4-5 years related experience including clinical data management and project coordination
  • Data management experience including writing syntax and performing analyses
  • Experience with SPSS and Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to balance attention between multiple tasks and independently prioritize
  • Experience with administrative tasks such as managing IRB, DUAs, BAAs
  • Experience with REDCap and R preferred
  • Experience with SQL

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 1-3 years related experience including clinical data management and project coordination
  • Data management experience including writing syntax and performing analyses
  • Experience with SPSS and Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills
