Job Summary
Attention University of Michigan-Dearborn Students: The College of Education, Health, and Human Services (CEHHS) seeks to hire a bilingual student to assist with research on English as a Second Language (ESL) education at the Early Childhood Education Center. This work will occur for the remainder of the 2021 Winter semester and the 2021 Summer semester.
Responsibilities*
Work with children at the Early Childhood Education Center (2-5 years old)
Data collection
Writing of observations, interviewws, reporting, and articles
Required Qualifications*
Bilingual (English & Arabic) comprehensive communication skills. Social & Standard (Academic) Arabic. Arabic translation skill & Oral skill (English into Arabic, Arabic into English).
Working experiences at children center (2-5 years old) (e.g. story time)
Technical skills: MS office (word/Excel/PPTs). Zoom or recording softwares.
Data collection: Observation/Writing journals/Report/Interviewing
